It is the expectation of the teacher that ALL students will participate in the Holiday Open House Recital and Spring Recital.
ABRSM Examinations are required WHEN the student has the skills necessary to participate in the process.
The remaining performance opportunities are optional and provide students with additional opportunities to better their existing artistry and performance skills.
WHY do students need to perform? Enjoyment through achievement sums up my teaching philosophy. Students working hard on piano skills need goals and a way of recognizing and celebrating their journey. Recitals provide students with growth and life enrichment opportunities that promote self esteem, self confidence and a sense of real achievement.
